Thread: Full Moon IPA for Dirt.

    Full Moon IPA for Dirt.

Full Moon IPA Recipe - brewed this on Sunday. It is actually a Green Flash West Coast IPA clone.

My numbers were a little different than BeerSmith. I hit 1.069 SG after the boil but was shooting for 6 gallons of wort and only got 5, too much evaporation in the kettle and not enough starting volume. I adjusted the recipe a little as a result and would need to increase the grains I think to hit 1.069 with the added water of 2 gallons.

I will be kegging that very same Blue Moon clone this weekend. It tasted great right out of the fermenter.

    Thanks for the recipe Triton.

Tomorrow's forecast: abundant sunshine, high of 68, and lots of honey in my brew kettle

That Blue Moon clone nearly placed at the MN State Fair! 38/50 final score (anything over 35 is pretty damn good) both the judges wanted the recipe too
